Description de Meurtres fatals
Meurtres Fatals is a compilation of about a dozen insane investigations of Inspector Charolles. These mini-enquiries, limited to 10 pages each, are full of irreverent humor and contain references to the biggest box-office hits of the 1980s and 1990s. It has a cast of 5-star caricatured actors. Graphically, the author of Sister Marie-Thérèse lets his creativity loose and it shows.Critique de Meurtres fatals
The first and second volumes of Meurtres Fatals, published by Fluide Glacial more than 15 years ago, are now combined for the first time in an integral edition. This comic is rated as average. Although the references and caricatures are often amusing, the humor sometimes oscillates between dark and vulgar, and the jokes often fall flat. Maëster's drawings, despite their creativity, lack finish and coherence at times. In summary, Meurtres Fatals may appeal to fans of Maëster and absurd humor, but it will not convince everyone.13Note générale
